Algumas pessoas não captam ironias:
No momento em que pensavam estar a tirar-lhe tudo o que tinha, ele estava a entregar-se a si mesmo por eles.
O sinal de zombaria, “Rei dos Judeus” é realmente verdadeiro _ foi pela sua morte que realmente trouxe o seu reino.
Chamaram por ele para ele cumprir a sua promessa de destruir o templo e reconstrui-lo quando, de facto, era isso mesmo que ele estava a fazer ao morrer e voltar à vida.
E, a derradeira ironia:
“salvou outros e não se consegue salvar a si mesmo”Em não se salvar a ele mesmo, Jesus está a salvar outros. A grande razão porque ele não desce daquela cruz é para que as pessoas possam ver e crer
Some people don’t get irony:
Thought they were taking all that Jesus had, but he was giving himself for them.
Their mocking sign The King of the Jews’ is actually true –it was by his death that Jesus really was bringing in the kingdom.
And, the ultimate irony:
‘he saved others he cannot save himself’. In not saving himself, Jesus is saving others. The very reason he doesn’t come down from the cross is so that people can see and believe.
